Today, the principle of democracy is based on the media, and the functioning of political processes would be almost impossible without the media. The politics has to pass through the media in order to influence the decisions of voters. “Media frame the politics” and, since the government depends on re-election or climbing up the political pyramid, it becomes dependent on every-day judgements and reports of the mass media and their influence on public opinion. During the last several decades, there have been certain changes in the political arena, as well as in the media, in their organization and contents, that led politicians to fighting even harder for their space in the media, but that also enabled them to influence the media more easily and to achieve their goals through them. In any situation, "address" of the media, it must be extremely take into account the message recipients, who had taught many years of experience, have already recognized the power of the mass media, but they certainly learned the different instruments of propaganda and manipulation, which broadcasters use. Also, shall be interpreted results of the analysis of media freedoms in BiH, which was done for the "Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and Herzegovina".
