Abstract

Information and communication tools, their application and representation in teaching began to be studied at the end of the twentieth century. Students of the new era are surrounded by different information technologies, and the amount and flow of information is much faster. Modern education and students search for different information every day, register it, memorize it, change it and use it again. Today, there is a large number of digital tools and programming environments intended for teaching, the use of which is made possible by the rapid development of modern technologies. Teaching contents are learned faster and easier if they require the use of multiple senses for understanding, which further justifies the use of these tools in teaching. With the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, traditional teaching is being replaced by online teaching, with various software educational platforms being used as the best solution in order to improve educational work. Software educational platforms form a link between didactic tools, teaching aids and literature. Educational platforms facilitate learning and contribute to the improvement of the teaching process. The goal of the work is to show the participants the advantages of using information and communication technologies, and to contribute to the modernization and improvement of the teaching process.
