Abstract

Having in mind the decisive policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina's inclusion in EuroAtlantic integration, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have committed themselves to structuring and training according to NATO standards. In this direction, the focus is on modern transport technologies, as it must meet the conditions of compatibility and interoperability set by the European Union or NATO. The importance of the traffic and transport system of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina stems from the fact that modern wars involve high intensity of movement, high volume of combat operations, high degree of motorization and increasing need for material and technical resources, ie supply and evacuation. The goal is to establish a functional traffic and transport system of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The system should be compatible with NATO, have an interoperable automated movement control system, with developed unique and uniform capabilities for equipment maintenance, procurement, storage, transport and distribution of supplies in optimal quantities and time.
