BUDUĆNOST UČENJA U METAVERZUMU / THE FUTURE OF LEARNING IN METAVERSE

Abstract

Metaverse is a concept that is defined in different ways. Today, it is most often described as a virtual image of the real world that we can access via the Internet, anytime, anywhere. By entering the virtual space, virtual interaction with other people around the world is achieved. That is why the metaverse provides unlimited opportunities for users and represents great potential not only in the development of education but also beyond. A virtual learning space would be created by professors. They could create such an environment that will amaze the students. Learning would be based on experience, instead of ordinary theory and classical learning through books. They would be complete control over student interactions, students' focus on matter would be maintained, peer violence would be eliminated ... For some, teaching in the metaverse may seem like a distant concept, like a dream ... Believe me, this is not the case because similar situations already exist in our environment. The future has arrived, and we will see what metaversum brings to us.
