Abstract

The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has caused numerous difficulties in all aspects of human life, including education. Due to the lack of a unified framework for the implementation of online teaching, schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina have used various forms of organizing online teaching. In order to obtain data on the mentioned forms of online teaching in the Central Bosnia Canton (FBiH), a survey was conducted through an online survey. During October 2020, over 4,000 students from grades 5 to 9 were surveyed via the Google Forms form giving their assessment of the effectiveness of the quality of different ways of organizing online teaching. The aim of the research was to analyze the obtained data and make recommendations for improving the quality of online teaching during the pandemic. Also, one of the goals of the research was to offer guidelines for increasing the safety of children on the Internet based on the analysis of answers to questions related to the safety aspects of using the Internet.
