Bus stations represent one of the key places in traffic infrastructure of every city and are significant infrastructural objects for all passengers who travel in domestic or international transport, as well as for road transport companies which carry out this transport. Bus stations customers are road transport companies, passengers, as well as customers of other bus station services. Bus stations in Montenegro comply with the Law of Road Transport and must have certain category and licence for providing bus station services. Due to great importance which they have, top bus stations in Montenegro use information systems for selling bus tickets and for keeping record of number of passengers, buses, frequency of transport etc. In this study it is examined the implementation of information systems in operation of bus stations in Montenegro and their influence on level and quality of services which they provide to their customers. Implementation of information systems should ensure improvement on level of services which bus stations provide to all customers, but above all to passengers and road transport companies.
