MODERNI FINANCIJSKI SEKTOR: ULOGA FINANCIJSKIH POSREDNIKA U DIGITALNOJ EKONOMIJI / MODERN FINANCIAL SECTOR: ROLE OF FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES IN DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The primary goal of the research effort is in response to the issues arising from the knowledge that the more dynamic environment, taking into account global trends in the financial sector, effectively links the key processes of financial intermediation, and at the same time increase customer satisfaction and user experience in a demanding and competitive-minded financial sector. Rational and intelligent use of information and communication technologies is becoming a major differentiator between successful projects and transformation efforts towards the user or the operating model oriented towards the user. Rapid and dramatic changes in the digital economy will inevitably bring changes to the technology, which will enable banks to speed up and facilitate key processes of transformation, but also due to changes in consumer behavior, end users, who will have the most important role in these changes and adjustments, which will go faster and faster. By investing in technology that can enable sophisticated business insights, banks as a key financial intermediaries, can be more effective to focus on their customers, improve risk management strategies, introduce innovative methods of pricing, optimize operating efficiency channels and increase customer satisfaction and have a significant effect on reducing information asymmetry and corporate control.
