Only at the end-user goods valorize its true value. To get it to end-user, goods must be transported from de place of manufacturer to the place of consumption. During the transport goods must preserv its value until use. In case of defect or lossing the goods, if it has insurance, the owner of the goods (user of transport) will be in the same financial situation as the job has been done with succes. Since the goods are „awaiting“ different types of risk, which we can classify into three basic categorys: basic risk, additional risk and special risk. In order to raise general awarness of all participians in system „production – transportation – distribution“, it is necessary to highlight the importance of insurance of goods during transportation, to make and adopt a consistent transport policy, which will protect all participians in transport and to guarantee their financial stability.
