Quality education of young drivers is a key measure for long-term improvement of their safety and road safety. Young drivers, as well as risk group, increasingly involved in traffic accidents. This is a global problem, present in all European countries, their share in proportion to the population ranges from 5% to 7%, and compared to the total number of drivers 8-10%. According to available data drivers up to 24 years of age account for 13% to 20% in the statistics of accidents and mortality in road traffic. The purpose of this paper is that on the basis of scientific elaboration of the system of education of drivers, propose measures that will affect the reduction of participation and suffering in traffic accidents and in order to improve road safety. A survey was conducted in the area of training of candidates for drivers and enforcement of driving tests. Conducted research in the area of training of the candidate for drivers and enforcement of driving tests.
To process the data collected was used a computer program adapted to process data, statistical package for social sciences, and to verify certain hypotheses methods chi-square test. The results indicate the possibility of a significant impact of education on improving the safety of young drivers, and ultimately to road safety in general.
