Abstract

There is an assumption that tests which are used for passing the driving tests from Knowledge of regulations on road traffic safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina do not offer higher quality of knowledge, according the way they are made and according to the certain experience and knowledge of those instructors who held lessons on Knowledge of regulations on
road traffic safety. The assumption is that the knowledge that candidates for drivers have after passing the tests are on the level of declarative knowledge. The goal of this task was to explore and check the foundation of these assumptions. A content analysis of exam questions was conducted. The given results suggest the need for a new approach to create new tests, in order to improve the quality of the theoretical part of the training, increase the level of knowledge in the knowledge and application of traffic regulations for new drivers and thus improve road safety.
