Energy is one of the strategic resources of modern states , and the steady growth of energy prices is a reality , and the efforts of EU states to reduce energy consumption permanent goal and foundation of economic development and increase living standards . Considering that in the coming period , the first decade of the XXI century is expected option of doubling the number of inhabitants in the country , it is the concept of sustainable development one of the most significant sectors of energy efficiency . It is necessary to improve the efficiency of energy use , energy demand management and promotion of the production of renewable energy , as well as the construction of new capacity and improve transmission and distribution . The imperative of modern society becomes reduction intervention over nature , and greater use of the knowledge , information and new technologies . Instruments and measures of economic and environmental policy in this way 
must have a major role . This paper presents the impact of energy and other technologies to increase environmental pollution . The paper wants to work on improving energy efficiency , leading to reduced energy consumption and financial savings . The importance of quantifying external effects in order to remediate the consequences of the influence of pollution on the environment . Quantified the trends and impacts on reinforcing the greenhouse effect in the generation sector , chemical industry , exploitation of forests and agricultural production . Intelligent exploitation , transformation and cost-effective use of heat and electricity is one of the central challenges of the XXI century, in this paper, it attaches particular importance.
