Abstract

In the business world today there is no starting any business activity without basic bearer, in developed societies, this role is played by entrepreneurship. The main goal is to create new value by launching and development of new companies. Entrepreneurship creates employment opportunities, relieves the knowledge of their own business opportunities, innovation, investment and expansion into new markets, developing new products and manufacturing processes and techniques. Entrepreneurship includes all activities aimed at a combination of investment and resources, expansion into new markets, create new products, new customers, new technologies and technological solutions. Entrepreneurship is related to the crucial time of uncertainty, crisis and changes in the environment. Economic theory of developed countries emphasizes entrepreneurship as a cornerstone of the economic system and economic development. In this paper, attention is focused on different barriers to the rapid development of entrepreneurship in transition countries, with special emphasis on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
