This paper examines the role of AI tutoring systems in enhancing inclusive education, with a particular focus on addressing the shortage of teaching assistants, which remains one of the major challenges faced by modern educational systems. AI tutoring systems employ artificial intelligence algorithms to tailor learning content to individual student needs, monitor progress, and provide real-time, targetedsupport. Through personalized recommendations, interactive exercises, and adaptive learning modules, these systems enable students with learning difficulties, students with disabilities, and those from socio-economically vulnerable groups to learn at their own pace while developing academic and social competencies. The paper emphasizes that although AI technologies can significantly reduce teacher workload and partially compensate for the lack of professional teaching assistants, they cannot fully replace human empathy, emotional support, and pedagogical judgment. The findings suggest that the most effective model is a hybrid approach that integrates human and AI assistance, resulting in a more inclusive, accessible, and effective educational environment.
