Abstract

Energy efficiency in construction is a very important segment for modern life, but also a permanent trend, necessary for all future construction projects. Undeniably, it occupies one of the leading places observed at the global level in the modern world. The very term energy efficiency of buildings and energy sustainable construction represents the reduction of energy needs without reducing the quality of construction and housing, which is achieved through the selection of renewable sources and environmentally friendly building materials. Here we primarily recognize wood, substitutes for cement as a binding material, recycled building materials as well as used building materials that have been expertly removed from the building and can be re – integrated into buildings. Evaluating the life cycle of the building and its energy efficiency, concrete surpasses all other primary building materials. As the most widely used building material, it must satisfy all aspects of sustainability in particular: ecological, technological, economic and sociological.
