Transportation Management System (TMS) is a subset of supply chain management, which refers to the transport operations and can be a part of the enterprise resource planning. TMS is usually located between the enterprise resource planning or legacy order processing and warehouse/distribution modules. Usually scenario includes incoming (supply) and outgoing (upload) orders in the aim of evaluation by TMS module which offers various suggested solutions routing. These solutions are evaluated by the users for the sake of determining their reasonableness, and then passed to the module analyzes the possibilities of transport, in order to select the best module supplier and at the lowest cost. Transportation management systems include four key transport management processes: planning and decision-making, execution of transport, supporting transport, measurement of key performance indicators. Using proven solutions warehouse management and transportation, which increase control and reduce operational overhead costs by increasing the permeability of the logistics process, represent the basis of the competitiveness of enterprises. Software as a component of a transport management system convert the data collected into a series of information which can be used for operationally manage the transport process in a more efficient way than previously, where the focus of interest of time and financial savings
