BERLINSKI PROCES U KONSTRUKTU KONVERGENCIJE DRŽAVA ZAPADNOG BALKANA U EVROPSKU UNIJU – DRUŠTVENO EKONOMSKI, PRAVNI I MEDIJSKI ASPEKTI

Abstract

The Berlin process was promoted as a platform in the strategic project of the convergence of the Western Balkan countries towards the European Union. Starting from the assumption that all the countries of the observed subregion are determined for admission to the association in question, an autochthonuos procedural framework wae conceptualized. The goal of our research is to look at the nomenclature in a scientific wau using a substantive method of analysis and synthesiss of the Berlin process and its impact on the countries of the Western Balkans in the construct of their European integration. The considered concept is dedicated, initiated in 2014, aims to strengthen regional cooperation, improve infrastructure projects, and support reforms necessary for EU accession. However, the countries of the Western Balkans face challenges such as unresolved bilateral disputes, economic insecurity, and political instability, which hinder their progress in the integration process. The essay explores models balancing of states regional cooperation with their own national interests.
