Abstract

The contemporary international community, as well as the countries of the Western Balkans subregion, are characterized by effors to eliminate ecological anomalies, preserve the living environment and desing sustainable economic development of society. The political, economy, security and other interests of the citizens they are constantly innovating, transformd, get the content, in they get, with the general civilizational changes. Concepts of green technologies represents the basis of production modeling, where the „Green Chemistry“ project is of prime importance. The aim of the paper is to analyze the ecological situation and the possibility of applying green technologies in the function of sustainable economic development of the countries of the Western Balkans. Sustainable economy development aims at achieving a balance between our consumption of resources, and the ability of our systems to sustain it at economy levels which do not rob future generations of their resource needs. The aim of the paper is to analyze the ecological situation and the possibility of applying green technologies in the function of sustainable economic development of the countries of the Western Balkans. The results of research on current issues instruct relevant social subjects to constantly fllow ecological trends and technological innovations in the context of stable economic progress. The importance of our consideration is represented by the findings that the improvement of the environment, the application of technological achievements and adequate projects of sustainable social prosperity play a first-class role in the realisation of an affirmative community.
