Domestic violence is any form of physical and psychological, sexual and economic abuse that takes place in the family. The problem is that this form of force and violence is often invisible and eternally hidden. The problem is that violence has been unexplored for years, and even a forbidden topic. Thanks to the international community and non-governmental organizations, this problem is reaching the government's agenda. This problem has gained its place in the legal regulation of criminal, misdemeanor and civil law. There are countless conventions, declarations and recommendations of the Council of Europe and the international community to take advantage of the dominance of men in the family, as well as to forget traditional practices and customs that deviate from all regulations on human rights and freedoms and their protection. Violence against women and other family members is a major obstacle to democracy and the security of citizens in Europe and the world. The Final Declaration, adopted at the Second Meeting of the Council of Europe / Strasbourg 1997 /, confirmed the determination of all states in the fight against violence against women. If we were to look for the best definition for violence against women, it could be said that it is any act of violence
involving physical force, sexual and psychological injury to a woman and her suffering, as well
as threats, coercion and arbitrary deprivation of liberty, as in public as well as in private life
violence, family, court, court proceedings, abuse, police, women, guardianship authority, temporary measures
