Abstract

Current existencetrends of countries in transition require innovated policy in the area of improving traffic and living environment. The process of joining the European Union implies a radical transformation of the state in all spheres of public life, particularly traffic and environment. The obvious problem is the development trends and the achieved level of competitiveness in the context of the objectives of "Europe 2020 strategy". Transport Development Policy emphasizes the priority development of traffic infrastructure and transport sector. The largest anomalies are present in the ecological system and the environment, where traffic plays an important role. Relevant factors of society are obliged to conceptualize adequate policy to improve the situation in these and other areas.
