The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in project management systems and establish a foundation for future empirical research. The paper seeks to examine the general perception of AI and its integration into project management technologies. The initial focus is on analyzing the contemporary application of AI in project management as a tool for enhancing planning precision, optimizing resource allocation, and facilitating swift identification and resolution of challenges. The study aims to emphasize the opportunities afforded by AI within project management while presenting tangible case studies of its implementation in project management systems. Additionally, the research aspires to stimulate further inquiry into this subject by incorporating previous studies, thereby evaluating the current state of AI as a functional tool in project management, and formulating recommendations for future development in line with prevailing perceptions of AI. The paper intends to deliver a robust theoretical framework concerning the application of AI in project management, serving as a basis for exploring the correlation between AI technologies and project management practices. It concludes with recommendations for future research directions, offering a theoretical and practical analysis of the impact and applicability of AI in the field of project management.
