Abstract

The application of new technology can prevent many traffic accidents on the roads. New technology vehicles have the potential to significantly reduce the number of road deaths. Trend analysis of road safety shows that in spite of the improvement, the number of roaddeaths worrying. There are three main causes of death on the roads, excessive speed or speed unadjusted driving conditions, driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to use seat belts. The use of new technologies for speed control as intelligent rate adaptation, the system alerts the lane departure or recognition cameras, will have an impact on drivers to respect the speed limit. Revision safety of road infrastructure in order to identify dangerous places on the road, can significantly contribute reducing the number of deaths on the roads.
