Abstract

This paper presents a model for the optimization of discontinuous transport and coal at the pit mines Lancaster, namely: Turija and Grivice for the period 2014 - 2020 year. A model for the optimization of technical and technological parameters of the system was developed in the simulation language GPSS / H and PROOF simulation package. Verification and validation of the model was based on the statistical processed data from the surface mines in the previous period. An economic model was developed in the software package Xerash (Runga) and processes expected stream of income, the cost of capital for new equipment, operating costs of equipment, operator and maintenance workers. Model use DCF analysis defines: NPV net present value of profits, IPR (internal rate of return) and DAC (discounted average costs) in the transport process in Turija and Grivice RMU Lancaster.
