Abstract

The purpose of the study is to present the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina in renewable energy, then to point out the potential of innovation, and the possibility of investing in their own solutions. This paper presents the potentials of Bosnia and Herzegovina in renewable energy, ie. how it could be used and how much of it is currently used. The paper is based on the potential of water, wind, solar energy, biomass and waste disposal. Some examples of innovations that offer a solution for more efficient utilization are shown in this paper. Also, this paper presents an example of success in business, based on the application of personal ideas and creations to create their own products. In the end, this paper shows the necessity of changing the awareness among citizens.
