Abstract

The problem of lacking workplaces and leave of youth from BIH is one of the biggest problems in BIH in the postwar period. This problem is getting worse on a daily basis without the intention of the state institutions to find a systematic solution, although these institutions are supposed to deal with these problems. Moreover, the institutions have almost done anything to stop the accelerated leave of youth from the country, especially latterly. Both practice and science propose some solutions for the ongoing problem which could be solved in good part by opening the new workplaces in the small family enterprises within local communities. We are presenting some possibilities of the small family enterprises, relying on help of local municipality authorities, to open workplaces in every branch on economy where there is an interest expressed by the youth. The main task of the local authorities it to provide the moral, professional and material support to the young people when opening the small family enterprises as well as during the first years of operation.
