Abstract

Many drivers do not respect the speed limit signaled on the road, driving faster than prescribed for certain road category, type of vehicle or driving speeding toward state road and the conditions under which the traffic on the road performing. The reason why so drivers in the survey were studied acting driver. The survey was conducted through a questionnaire, which was formed for this purpose. Some of the issues in the questionnaire was taken from a questionnaire survey which was conducted by the driver in the EU project SARTRE 3 in the EU and Belgrade. This project examined the attitudes of drivers on the speed of the vehicle but also on other issues of importance to traffic safety. To sample was inclusive and more representative and to the inferences it may characterize the behavior and attitudes of drivers on the speed of vehicles valid for the wider region, the research conducted in the Republic of Serbian presents an overview and compared with results obtained in the EU project SART and Belgrade
