Abstract

The new Law on Road Traffic Safety from 2009 year, created the conditions for the introduction of the Road Safety System in Serbia and management of this system. This paper provides an overview of the characteristics of the road safety problem in Serbia, as well as an overview of the organization and responsibilities of the Road Traffic Safety Agency which was established also, as a Coordinating body, in order to (with its activities) contribute to the development of Road Safety in Serbia and establishment of Traffic Safety management system in Serbia
