The concept of mobility management encompasses a range of strategies and programs that reduce the use of cars, creating a favorable environment for public and nonmotorized traffic in order to improve efficiency and sustainable development of the transport system. As an instrument of transport policy, transport demand management measures generally do not require large financial investments which makes them extra attractive. This paper presents measures of mobility management and provides insight into their potential based on previous experience of application.
