In this paper the subject of research is the introduction and implementation of quality systems at the technical inspection stations in accordance with EN ISO 9000ff standard. In business conditions in the European market quality important role plays not only in providing new customers but also to retain existing customers. That is why ISO standards come to the fore because customers who use services in technical inspection stations not only that they are looking for quality services but require proof that technical inspections are certified by requirements to the ISO standard. For now the only internationally recognized proof of quality is certified ISO 9001:2008, issued by internationally accredited house. The introduction and implementation of the stated standard provides great importance in the control of the technical inspection stations of vehicles and therefore greater safety in traffic. The procedure, purpose and importance of the introduction of the quality system is the main result of the study and the aim is that the importance of quality in Bosnia and Herzegovina takes the role as well in the European market.
