Terms of the growing degree of automation, computerization and other technological achievements, on the one hand, and restructured production companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the other hand, impose the need for new knowledge in terms of adaptability and increased eco-efficiency of production systems. Engineers are faced with the growing trend of changes in the field of technology, organization, decision-making and management of production systems. New and innovated technologies, with the widespread use of methods of recycling waste materials and its further use, the introduction of technological, organizational and management kopetentnih staff in the production system, the development of closed production cycles requiring the need to increase knowledge about the relations of production system and environment.
