Abstract

Terms of the growing degree of automation, computerization and other technological achievements, on the one hand, and restructured production companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the other hand, impose the need for new knowledge in terms of adaptability and increased eco-efficiency of production systems. Engineers are faced with the growing trend of changes in the field of technology, organization, decision-making and management of production systems. New and innovated technologies, with the widespread use of methods of recycling waste materials and its further use, the introduction of technological, organizational and management kopetentnih staff in the production system, the development of closed production cycles requiring the need to increase knowledge about the relations of production system and environment. This work will be shown how risky and toxic wastes can be controlled and reduced, using the principle of "Cleaner Production. Then how to transfer this task to lower level managers, who need to anticipate, plan, manage and monitor the market. Cleaner production is the continuous application of an integrated preventive environmental strategy applied to production processes, products and services to increase eco-efficiency, reduce pressure on the environment and reducing risks. For the manufacturing process cleaner production includes more efficient use of raw materials and energy, elimination hazardous materials, and decrease of emissions and wastes at source.
