Taxation is the primary and oldest source of revenue from which the state, as well as local self government units, finance their needs, projects, and functions. In this paper, we will address tax policy, which, in turn, represents a set of measures and
activities that the state implements in the area of taxation, achieving certain goals and solving certain fiscal, social and economic problems, as well as the effects of the tax policy of the Republic of Macedonia.
