Abstract

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are undoubtedly many challenges regarding the efficient,  sustainable and cost-effective use of energy resources, as well as their management. This paper  investigates and explains how the application of artificial intelligence could improve performance and optimize the energy system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accordingly, there is also talk about  how artificial intelligence could help in the energy transition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is  certainly a very important issue. The paper deals with the analysis of the situation in the context  of the (non)existence of the role of artificial intelligence in the optimization of the energy system  of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the moment. Considering the established situation, through the  chapters of the work, efforts to explain all aspects where artificial intelligence could serve purpose  in the optimization of the energy system showed that there are enormous possibilities in this field.  Of course, regardless of these great possibilities, there are also a number of limitations that would  have to be faced when applying artificial intelligence to a step forward in the energy transition.  With all the potentials and limitations, which have been reached through this analysis, through the  work it will be possible to see how, how much and in what way artificial intelligence can contribute  to the energy system of Bosnia and Herzegovina
