Abstract

In this paper we explore, elaborates and analyze the movement of labor productivity in the
transport system of the Republic of Croatia (RH). We also investigates the relationship between the total
traffic volume measured by dynamic work indicators, the number of employees in the transport system,
labor productivity and gross domestic product for the period from 2000 to 2020. The objects of this
research are the ways to measuring productivity in traffic system, volume of transport work, total traffic
revenue and employment in traffic. The main finding of this paper points to the decline in labor
productivity in the observed period as consequence of global financial and COVID-19 crises.
