Abstract

In this paper, the impacts of aircraft characteristics on the structure of individual parts of the airport system are analyzed. For a harmonious functioning of the airport - as a system for fast conversion of aircraft flows into the flows of other modes of transport, the knowledge of the impact of aircraft characteristics on certain parts of it is crucial. The aircraft is the carrier of requests for services (demand) within the air part of the airport system (air side) in terms of its physical characteristics (mass, speed, geometry), and its size-accommodation capacity, the aircraft is the carrier of requests for services (demand) within the land part of the airport system (land side) where, in general, flows of passengers, luggage and cargo are served.
