Abstract

By definition, means of transport belong to the group of working machines (working machines are machines that change the shape, property, condition or position of the object of work) consisting of: cars, locomotives, airplanes, ships, etc., special transport machines (transporters, conveyors, elevators, cranes, forklifts, etc.). In order to achieve a greater degree of safety, economy, comfort and reduce emissions during operation, vehicles with their construction are becoming more complex, with the installation of a large number of mechatronic systems. The structure of mechatronic systems consists of sensors, microprocessors and actuators. The principle of operation of these elements is based on the application of electrical engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or a combination thereof. The paper will present the application of individual hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves) and their role in mechatronic systems.
