Abstract

The aim of this research is to optimize complex waste oil management systems, in the function of preventing and reducing environmental contamination, as well as harmful consequences for human health. Waste oil treatment systems in electricity distribution companies generally meet aspects of good integrated management, but improvements are needed. The paper describes the situation on the ground and legal requirements, in integration with the application of protection measures, and gives a conclusion and recommendations for improving the management of waste oils-hazardous waste. The main results of the work are based on the necessity of eliminating deficiencies at certain locations and more complete implementation of protection measures, especially the following: realization of expansion and protection of the existing storage space; elimination of environmental risks by adequate storage of damaged and other transformers, with insulating oils; and ensuring the necessary degree of correctness of transformers, motor vehicles, working and other machines, all in the function of safety of the environment and working environment. The importance of the results of the work is reflected in the achievement of a higher degree of environmental regulation and better application of measures for its protection.
