Abstract

The purpose of the work is to highlight the importance of pneumatic tires on motor vehicles, as well as the impact of their basic characteristics on vehicle dynamics. Proper selection and operation of the tire with the arrival of active vehicle safety systems is a significant contribution to improving the safety of road traffic, with special emphasis placed on "critical situations". Reducing the degree of injury in traffic accidents in addition to road conditions contributes to the age and wear of the tire, which beside the brake and control system can freely be classified as one of the most important parts of the motor vehicle. We are witnessing that often young people are also causing deaths in heavy traffic accidents. Pneumatic is the only touch point between the vehicle and the ground. The user must be careful to preserve the quality and performance of their tires. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the following safety and usage tips that will be presented later in this manual.
