In a time of globalization of the market, the great global recession, strengthening of unfair competition, at least when it comes to economic conditions in BiH, there is a need for all companies, including companies within the transport system, that is, companies that directly provide, or are in some ways involved in the provision of transport, postal, communication and telecommunication services, to employ as high-quality staff as possible in our labor market. Over the last twenty years, secondary and higher education reform has been implemented in BiH through the FARE, EUVET, GTZ, Bologna, etc. programs, aming to educate and train future personnel in the labor market, in accordance with the requirements of the social partners and business entities. In order to define the requirements of business entities, it is necessary to conduct a qualitative research of all those small, medium and large enterprises involved in the market of transport, postal, communication and telecommunication services. Covered topic: "Research of the needs of transport companies in order to more effectively train the staff for work in the transport system" aims to obtain inputs that will be basis for curriculum development and syllabus. Those inputs are gained through the implementation of a qualitative and quantitative study of the needs of transport companies, for the qualification of the personnel involved in the work of transport companies.
