Due to traffic accidents in the city of Doboj, a large number of people are killed or injured every year. This paper presents the statistics of traffic accidents in 2024, comparing these statistical results with those from 2023, and describes the causes of the most common traffic accidents in Doboj. We have come to the conclusion that our traffic safety is slowly improving; however, we have also proposed some measures to enhance road safety. Every participant in traffic, in any capacity, wants a system that meets their needs and expectations. Taking this into account, the way to ensure the safety of road traffic must be facilitated by the city of Doboj and the Republic of Srpska, as their institutions have insight and oversight over the traffic situation. They should directly or indirectly influence this area more and to a greater extent than before.
