MARKETINŠKA KONCEPCIJA TURISTIČKOG PROIZVODA / MARKETING CONCEPT OF TOURISM PRODUCT

Abstract

Purpose: In this paper, in the context of the marketing concept purposeful explains the concept of a tourist product – the travel package and its most efficient placing on the market.
Results: It provides the analysis of all the phases in creating travel packages and the description of their main types. The paper underlines the importance of the promotion of tourist products through promotional activities and communication channels, aiming at matching products and services to customers' needs. It also describes the importance of the marketing concept for the tourist product placement.
Conclusions of this work: In order to improve the tourism product placements, explained the marketing concept with a focus on the dynamics of travel industry and the need to follow trends continuously and adapt its activities to frequent changes on the market.
