Abstract

In this paper we present a view that, especially in a state of reduced transport, increase of cost-effectiveness of labor, driving comfort and safety in this branch of transportation, can be achieved through optimization of the dynamic relationship in the points of contact "wheel-rail". For the successful implementation of the project on the topic concerned, it is necessary that multidisciplinary, competent project leader be involved, in order to avoid professional approach to the problem, because it does not lead to a solution that causes rapid wear of wheels and rails, that is, the disruption of the quality of the vehicle and the track in relation to the applicable EN/UIC standards.
