In today's uncertain business conditions for management of enterprise, making business decisions is a big challenge. The basic information used in the decision-making process is the accounting information incorporated in the financial statements. In order to be useful for making decisions financial statements, it is necessary to make an analysis of the financial statements on the basis of which we can estimate the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the company's business. Prognostic models of analysis of business operations represent a well-valued business performance assessment as well as a forecast of future business. The information we provide based on the use of these models serves the management and all interested decision-makers. In this paper, we will apply the BEX model, which is primarily developed for the Croatian market and the widely distributed Altman Z-score model, on the telecom sector in B&H. The aim is primarily to get the results of the business and the forecast of the future business and then to do a comparative analysis of the results of these two models.
