The maritime business operates in a changable and uncertain environment, which involves great uncertainty and risk (of failure, unforeseen damages, and losses, etc.). In order to minimize negative effects of the risk uncertainty, they must be indentified, studied, properly assessed, and constantly monitored. Particularly large are logistics risks in maritime transport supply chain and management. The hypothesis is that the risk assessment, identification, quantification, control, and management are an imperative of the modern corporate security of maritime companies.
