Monitoring of tribomehanical systems conditions has very important role in development of friction theory and practice about friction, wear and lubrication. Experience in technical systems exploitation showed that the most effective failure prognosis is according to parameters, particles created as results of wear, which are reliable indicators of wear process. Lubricants are as the contacts elements of tribomehanical systems carry the information about the state of whole system from the aspect of ageing processes. Measurement of particles by PQ index is indicator of wear in tribomechanical system.
