Abstract

Logistics of passenger transport refers to the permanent production of transport services, with the optimization of the offer according to the needs of the users of the transport service, respectively the optimization of the cost-effective supply of transport capacities in places of large transport demands. Simply, logistics is the user oriented management of operations, that is, the management of processes and sub-processes in the public transport of passengers system. The system of public transport of passengers is the basic logistics subsystem of the city that ensures the presence of its users as elements of production and other processes, at the place and in the moment where and when it is needed. At the same time, it also represents an economic activity that engages large resources invested in resources: vehicles, employees, facilities and equipment, energy, finance, etc. A logistic concept aimed at the functioning of the passenger transport system is of great importance, and in this connection the work of the transit system of the passengers in the city of Doboj will be shown, as well as the systemic approach in the management of the system of public urban transport of passengers which presupposes the concept of transformation and complete integration system into a city transport system.
