The history of international relations can be traced back to the Westphalian peace when a modern state system, independent nation states and diplomacy developed. A modern international system is being established during the decolonization of the Cold War. In the 20th century, the basis of international relations was Marxism. New Age brings more modern shapes. International relations are studying relations between countries, including the roles of states, international governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and multinational corporations. They are often regarded as a branch of political science, although they rely on various areas such as economics, history, international law, anthropology, psychology and cultural studies. The English word management can be compared with the concept of processes and coordination of effectively used human and material resources in order to achieve specific goals. Management is a very complex concept, and it can be viewed and defined from various aspects, such as management as a business process, management as a skill, as a science discipline, profession or function in an organization.
