The motive of committing robbery is property gain. It is mostly a motive for quick arrival to money. Through a survey carried out by inspecting court cases before the Opcinski/Municipal and Cantonal Courts in Sarajevo, a large number of robbers exhibited a great deal of aggression. Statistically significant differences in the characteristics of the socio-economic status and mobility of families, which the perpetrators of criminal offenses of robbery in Sarajevo Canton area come from, were identified. There are noticeable differences in the characteristics of the socially pathological behavior of perpetrators of criminal acts of robbery in everyday life situations, in an atmosphere that is a natural result of the dynamics and quality of overall relationships in the family, which is a result of the personality characteristics and behavior of family members, primarily parents. There are external factors that explain factors that influence behavior as socio-economic, socio-political (poverty, unemployment, etc.). Internal factors include those related to the criminal offense perpetrator’s personality (character of personality, habits, motives for the commission of a criminal offense, temperament, mental disorders, etc.). Regarding socioeconomic status and family mobility, the first visible indicators are the impact of the crisis of society, that is, the economic situation that is currently present in this region. Unemployment is an ideal incentive factor, especially for the younger population, to start committing criminal offenses, especially robbery, which is evident from our everyday life.
