On the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina traffic accidents are almost a daily occurrence. After a traffic accident, even if there is the option of data exchange by the participants, almost always performs site inspection traffic police. After the inspection object is processed in the competent court, where in the course of the trial determines responsibility, declared guilty and imposition of sanctions. After a traffic accident, in addition to determining criminal responsibility, it is necessary to establish the amount of damage and pay fair compensation for all damaged in the accident. From the moment of site inspection, then at the completion of the criminal or misdemeanor record through the court proceedings determining responsibility, to the final payment of compensation for the damage caused, there is a need to engage an expert traffic, mechanical, economic, and medical profession. As a rule, experts of traffic profession are included the earliest, and sometimes even from the moment of site inspection, when such professional support is hired by the prosecutor or the police. Experts of traffic profession use their professional knowledge, skills and experience to provide answers to questions which are lawyers from the expert point unknown. In this work will be analyzed in detail the licensing experts, their engagement, a way of giving experts opinions and in the end court decisions made on the basis of experts findings and opinions.
