Abstract

Introducing intelligence in road traffic in the form of intelligent transportation systems has been very important for the coming time and for the flow of traffic in terms of a very fast pace. The emergence of intelligent networks, intelligent vehicles, intelligent roads has launched a new era of development of the transportation system that can monitor, control, direct and improve the central management. The technology of wireless sensor networks provides a new and very interesting opportunities for data collection about the physical parameters of the environment, which is of crucial importance in many areas of application. Wireless sensor networks have found application in the traffic, through the collection of data from specific locations in order to ensure the highest possible level of safety, efficiency, accuracy, regularity and convenience of traffic.
