Abstract

People spend more and more time in the car. The number of cars on the roads is increasing, thus the risk of accidents.Safety of all road users is more affected than ever and it is necessary to find new solutions, in order to raise it to higher level.This paper describes collision avoidance systems based on ICT networks, infrastructural communication and GPS navigation, to underline their ability and potentials in social and technological aspects. These solutions targets are automation in driving perception as well as other global demands, in order to make driving easier and traffic safer.
