Abstract

The subject of this paper, are direct indicators of traffic safety. The analysis of these indicators in the Republic of Serbian state will be examined road safety of the Republic of Serbian, ie. whether the road safety of the Republic of Serbian satisfactory, and whether there is a need to implement appropriate measures and actions that will lead to the improvement of traffic safety in the Republic of Serbian. The goal of research is to show that in the Republic of Serbian no adequate system of traffic safety management, to security alone is not satisfactory and needed to take appropriate measures in order to improve the current security situation traffic congestion.
